The East Earl Township Police Department arrested Kayden M. Fisher of Brownstown. Fisher is charged with Fleeing or Attempting to Elude Police Officer, a felony of the third degree, and two summary traffic offenses.
It is alleged that on September 25, 2026 at around 9:25 PM, a officer on patrol saw a vehicle speed through the intersection of Division HW and Main St. The officer attempted to conduct a traffic stop on the vehicle, however, the vehicle fled westbound on Division HW. As the vehicle continued to flee, it failed to stop for a red traffic signal on Division HW at Weaverland Rd. The fleeing vehicle eventually became held up in traffic near Tobacco Rd, which forced it to stop fleeing. The officer identified Fisher as the driver of the vehicle and took him into custody.
Fisher was arraigned by MDJ Torrey Landis. Judge Landis set Fisher's bail at $5,000. Fisher posted bail and was released to await future court proceedings.
The public is reminded that criminal charges are merely accusations. Fisher is PRESUMED INNOCENT.
