Missing person recovery and Homicide arrest.   Middlesex Township Police have been investigating a missing person incident involving missing person Kimberly F Gsell who was reported missing to the Middlesex Township Police from the Roadway Inn at 1239 Harrisburg Pike Carlisle PA 17013 on September 29, 2019.  On September 25, 2026, Detectives located and recovered human remains in New Cumberland PA. These remains were identified as those of Kimberly Gsell.

During the investigation, a male suspect was identified as David Allen Snyder.  On September 26, 2026, Detectives interviewed David Snyder who admitted to his part in the Strangulation and Murder of Kimberly Gsell. David Snyder was arrested and transported to Cumberland County Prison and was arraigned. Snyder’s bail has been denied due to the nature of charges.
