🐾 WELCOME K-9 VALO! 🐾

The Nazareth Borough Police Department is proud to officially introduce the newest member of our department, K-9 Valo!

Valo is a 11 month old Dutch Shepherd/Belgian Malinois hybrid who arrived from the Netherlands approximately two weeks ago. Today, Officer and K-9 Handler Hartzell officially took possession of Valo. The pair will spend the next two weeks acclimating and building their partnership before beginning official K-9 training in early October.

K-9 Valo is the first police K-9 in the history of the Nazareth Borough Police Department, and his arrival marks the official beginning of our department’s K-9 Program. We are incredibly proud to reach this milestone and look forward to the many ways this program will benefit our officers, residents, and surrounding communities.

We would like to personally thank the members of our community and supporters beyond Nazareth whose generous donations made it possible for our department to obtain Valo. Your support has been truly incredible, and we could not have reached this important milestone without you.

We are excited to welcome K-9 Valo to the Nazareth Borough Police Department and are confident that he will be an amazing asset to our daily operations.
