On Wednesday, September 2, 2026, at approximately 4:20 p.m. officers with Lancaster City Bureau of Police were dispatched to the intersection of New Holland Avenue and McGrann Boulevard, on the northeast edge of Lancaster City, for a reported vehicle crash.

At the scene, officers discovered a crash involving a motorcycle and a station wagon. The person driving the motorcycle sustained fatal injuries during the crash and was pronounced dead at the scene. There were no other injuries reported.

The on-scene investigation has concluded, and the intersection of New Holland Avenue and McGrann Boulevard has reopened.
