On July 27th, 2026, at approximately 6:45 pm, the victim contacted the police department about the attempted theft of their motorcycle from their backyard. The victim resides in the 700 block of Shepherdstown Road and advised they noticed the motorcycle was missing from the yard at around 4:30 pm. He was able to find the motorcycle in the area of East Elmwood Avenue and Despina Drive. The victim advised the motorcycle did not run currently. Surveillance cameras captured two juveniles push the motorcycle away from the residence at around midnight. They eventually left the area, leaving the motorcycle behind. The two juveniles have since been identified and will have charges filed against them through Cumberland County Juvenile Probation. The juveniles reside in the Mechanicsburg area and are 14 and 16 years old.
