On July 13th, 2026, at approximately 4:18 pm, the police department was dispatched to the intersection of East Simpson Street and Allendale Road for a crash which just occurred. Officers determined a vehicle travelling westbound attempted to turn left onto Allendale Road to travel south. The turning vehicle was struck by a vehicle travelling on East Simpson Street in the opposite direction. Both vehicles required towing from the scene due to the damage they sustained in the crash. The driver of the vehicle travelling east suffered a minor injury which they denied wanting to receive medical attention.
