On August 4, 2026, at approximately 1600 hours, North Middleton Township Police were dispatched to a motor vehicle accident in the area of 1010 Harrisburg Pike. The crash occurred while Unit 1, Unit 2, and Unit 3 were traveling southbound on Harrisburg Pike. Due to slowing traffic at a red traffic signal, Unit 2 and Unit 3 came to a stop. Unit 1 failed to stop in time and struck the rear of Unit 2, causing a chain-reaction collision. As a result of the impact, Unit 2 was propelled forward and collided with the rear of Unit 3.
