The Eastern Pike Regional Police Department extends its heartfelt congratulations to Chief Chad Stewart on his well-earned retirement.

After 30 years of distinguished service in law enforcement, Chief Stewart leaves behind a legacy of honor, compassion, integrity, and unwavering dedication to the communities he has proudly served. Throughout his tenure as Chief, he championed numerous community programs and initiatives that have strengthened relationships, improved public safety, and will continue to benefit our region for years to come.

On July 24, 2026, officers from the Eastern Pike Regional Police Department, Milford Police Department, Delaware Valley School Police, Port Jervis Police Department, Pennsylvania State Police, Pike County Sheriff's Office, Sussex County Prosecutor's Office, the Interstate Law Enforcement Association, the Eastern Pike Regional Police Commission, Pike County Communications Center, Westfall Fire Department, Matamoras Fire Department, Westfall Township Supervisors, Matamoras Borough Council, along with other dignitaries, family, friends, and members of the community, gathered to honor Chief Stewart during his walkout ceremony.

Surrounded by those whose lives and careers he influenced, Chief Stewart made his final radio transmission, calling himself off duty for the last time, a moment filled with gratitude, respect, and emotion.

Chief Stewart, thank you for your three decades of dedicated service, exceptional leadership, and steadfast commitment to our community. Your impact will be felt for generations, and your legacy will continue through the programs you established and the people you inspired.
