On Saturday July 18, 2026 at approximately 11:50 am, a Palmer Township Police Officer was on patrol conducting business checks on S. 25th Street, when he observed a male with an active arrest warrant for Simple Assault and Harassment from this department. Officers conducted a vehicle stop and the male was taken into custody without incident. The male was identified as Dylan M. Harris. Further investigation confirmed he was also in possession of a hand gun and shot gun. He was transported to the Palmer Township Police Department for processing. He was later transported to the Northampton County Central Booking Center and arraigned by Magisterial District Justice McClure on both separate incidents. He was committed to the Northampton County Prison on $35,000.00 straight bail for the gun possession and $20,000.00 unsecured for the Simple Assault.
