The Hanover Township Police Department responded to River Road, Lincoln Heights section, at approximately 1:02pm for an unresponsive 21 month old female child.  Life saving efforts were made by responding Hanover Township Medic 9 and the Hanover Twp Fire Department.  The child was subsequently transported to Geisinger South Hospital in Wilkes-Barre and later pronounced deceased.  An autopsy is pending.
