On 07/13/2026 at approximately 1038 hrs, CPD responded to the Wendy’s at 1091 Wayne Ave. for an armed robbery. The male suspect brandished a knife and demanded money from the cashier. No one was injured during the robbery. After reviewing video footage from local businesses, residences, and borough cameras, the suspect was identified as Dante B Hollenquest. CPD was able to locate Hollenquest at a local hotel and he was taken into custody without incident. CPD would like to extend our gratitude to the Pennsylvania State Police for their quick response into the area and the Chambersburg residents who allowed us to review camera footage which quickly led to Hollenquest’s apprehension.
