Murrysville, PA -- Murrysville Police filed felony charges against a Monroeville woman who was accused of leaving a child inside of an unattended vehicle last month.
On June 7, 2026, Murrysville Police responded to the Walmart parking lot for the report of a child being left unattended inside of a car.
Officers were told the child was crying and the doors were unlocked, prompting the caller to take the child inside of the store to wait for officers' arrival.
Murrysville police officers noted the temperature outside was 83 degrees and sunny.
Police observed the vehicle was running, with the keys inside, however it was blowing hot air inside of the vehicle.
The child, 5, was given a cell phone, however it was dead and the child was unable to reach the woman.
Murrysville Police had store employees page the owner of the vehicle, Munara Ismailova, while officers requested EMS to respond to evaluate the minor victim.
The victim was taken to the hospital for further evaluation.
Ismailova was unable to speak English. Officers on scene contacted an off-duty Murrysville police officer to help translate the conversation in Russian.
Ismailova told officers she was only in the store for 15 minutes, however surveillance video showed she arrived 23 minutes prior to the 911 call being made, and 44 minutes passed before officers made contact with her.
Walmart employees told police Ismailova is a delivery driver for spark.
Ismailova is facing a count endangering the welfare of children.
