On July 7, 2026, Union Pacific's famed Big Boy No. 4014, the world's largest operating steam locomotive, will make a whistle stop in Lebanon. The train, measuring approximately 1,800 feet in length, will occupy the rail corridor between 8th Street and 4th Street.
In conjunction with the whistle stop, a public event will be held in the 200 block of North 8th Street. The event will feature food vendors, activities, and other attractions celebrating the locomotive's arrival.
Event activities will begin at 10:00 a.m. and conclude at 2:00 p.m.
The event and train stop are expected to attract thousands of visitors. To help ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone, the following road closures will be in effect:

Parking will also be affected in these designated areas.
