On June 21, 2026, at approximately 8:07 pm, officers responded to the 3100 block of North Delaware Drive for a reported burglary in progress. The caller reported they were not on scene, however, they were observing an unknown male suspect inside their residence on camera. Upon arrival, officers observed a male suspect at the front of the residence who attempted to conceal himself behind a trailer. The suspect, identified as Roger Johnson, was taken in custody without incident. Officers located a backpack, which contained a handgun, rifle, and shotgun, which were removed from the residence by Johnson. After consulting with the Northampton County DA's Office, Johnson was charged by criminal complaint and transported to Northampton County Prison.
