Stolen Trust, Stolen Car: Investigation Leads to Arrest
On May 22, 2025, Warrington Police responded to the 400 block of Maryjoe Way for a report involving a family member and the unauthorized use of a vehicle. During the investigation, the victim told officers that 42-year-old Jason Kaszupski of West Hampton, New Jersey, had been staying at the residence while caring for an elderly relative.
The victim reported that on May 17, 2025, they were notified that their vehicle had been involved in an incident on Interstate 95 and had been towed after sustaining a broken axle. The victim stated they had secured the vehicle's keys inside a bedroom closet and had not given Kaszupski permission to use the vehicle. The victim further advised that Kaszupski did not possess a valid driver's license.
Police determined that Kaszupski had taken the vehicle without authorization and operated it prior to the incident on I-95. As a result of the investigation, an arrest warrant was issued for Kaszupski on May 30, 2025.
More than a year later, on June 17, 2026, Kaszupski was arrested in Philadelphia on unrelated charges.
Criminal charges, and any discussion thereof, are merely allegations and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
