On March 25th, 2026, the Hatboro Police Department received a complaint of an assault that occurred at KinderCare which is located at 378 S Warminster Rd. An investigation ensued where the detective assigned learned that an employee, Thomas Coleman, physically assaulted a juvenile who was left in his care. A warrant for Coleman's arrest was issued by MDJ Stephens and he was subsequently taken into custody by HPD. He was arraigned by MDJ Leonard who set bail at 10% of $25,000. 

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for a later date.
