Littered Cigarette Sparks Investigation, Leads to Arrest

On June 5, 2026, a Warrington Police officer observed a man appearing to be asleep or passed out at a bus stop outside Wawa. As the officer approached, the man stood up and discarded a lit cigarette onto the ground. 

The man was identified as 37-year-old Brian Bancroft Antonuccio of Warminster, who was found to have an active arrest warrant from Philadelphia. During a search incident to arrest, officers recovered numerous wax baggies containing white powder residue, glass smoking devices, cut straws, and burnt foil. 

Antonuccio was transported to the station before being taken to a local hospital after complaining of a medical condition.

Criminal charges, and any discussion thereof, are merely allegations and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
