On May 21, 2026, at approximately 10:08 pm, a Forks Township Police officer conducted a traffic stop in the area of Bushkill Drive and Uhler Road. The officer made contact with the driver, identified as Marlon Kunhardt Jr., and detected a strong odor of alcoholic beverage emanating from his breath and person. Additionally, Kunhardt had glassy eyes and was unsteady on his feet. Kunhardt refused to participate in Standardized Field Sobriety Tests and was taken into custody for suspicion of DUI. Kunhardt was transported to a DUI Center and a legal blood draw later determined Kunhardt's BAC was 0.245. Kunhardt was charged by criminal complaint with (1 count) Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol - General Impairment (M) and (1 count) Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol - Highest Rate (M).
