The Montour Township Police Department, in conjunction with the Pennsylvania State Police, has issued a felony warrant for Roger Aquzib Austin of Brooklyn, New York, in connection with the theft of two motorcycles from a residence on Deussen Drive.
On January 14, 2026, the Montour Township Police Department responded to a report of a theft, where a 2020 black/orange KTM Duke motorcycle and a 2024 neon green Kawasaki KX450 were stolen from a detached garage. An investigation revealed that the suspect, later identified as Roger Austin, was engaged in a large scale operation of vehicle thefts along the east coast.
Through a months-long investigation, led by Chief Philip Savidge, it was discovered that Austin's phone was tracked to the vicinity of the theft location between 0150 and 0219 hours on January 13, 2026. Further investigation revealed that Austin was part of a larger investigation into stolen motorcycles, with connections to thefts in Hockessin, Delaware, and Rockville, Maryland.
Austin was arrested in Warrenton, Virginia on January 20, 2026, in possession of gloves and other burglary equipment, as well as motorcycle parts and imprints of handlebars in the roof of his vehicle.
Chief Savidge filed the charges against Austin after a thorough investigation, which included reviewing security video, analyzing fingerprint evidence, and collaborating with the Pennsylvania State Police.
The Montour Township Police Department is urging anyone with information about Austin's whereabouts to contact them immediately. All persons are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
The department would like to thank the Pennsylvania State Police for their assistance in this investigation and encourages the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity.
