On May 11th, 2026, at approximately 2:29 pm, the police department was advised of a crash that just occurred at the intersection of East Main and North Walnut Streets. Upon arrival officers determined a bus was stopped at the intersection letting passengers off, facing westbound. A vehicle travelling behind the bus attempted to go around the bus and upon going into the other lane of travel, it struck a vehicle travelling eastbound. The struck vehicle required towing from the scene due to the damage it sustained in the crash.
