On May 8th, 2026, at approximately 2:31 pm, the police department was dispatched to the 400 block of West Main Street for a crash which just occurred. Upon arrival officers determined a vehicle travelling east on West Main Street stopped to allow a pedestrian to cross the street when they were struck by the vehicle behind theirs. The striking vehicle was towed from the scene due to the damage from the crash. The driver of the striking vehicle was evaluated by EMS but was not transported. The police department was assisted on scene by Penn State Life Lion EMS.
