On Sunday, May 31, 2026, at approximately 10:25 p.m., officers from the Lancaster City Bureau of Police were in the area of the 400 block of Beaver Street conducting an unrelated follow-up investigation. Officers were approached and informed that shots had been fired in the area approximately 30 minutes prior to their arrival. Several shell casings were located, and two vehicles were found to have been struck by gunfire.
