Swatara Township Police and Swatara Fire-Rescue were honored to be a part of Chambers Hill Elementary's May Fair today! Superintendent Stauffer, Corporal Pokrop, Chief Ibberson, and Firefighter Riddle (Harrisburg Fire) volunteered to take a pie in the face as part of the event. The kids had to earn the chance to "Pie a Hero" through their good behavior in the classroom and winning games at the event. All in all, the first responders probably took over 100 pies to the face in two hours! It was a great time and we had a blast with the kids.
