On Sunday, April 26, 2026, at approximately 12:37 a.m., a vehicle was stopped by police for faulty equipment and excessive speed in the area of Route 378 and Black River Road.

During the stop, an odor of an alcoholic beverage was detected, and the operator, a 22-year-old female, failed field-coordination exercises. She was taken into custody and transported to the Northampton County DUI Center for processing. BAC .18%
