The East Earl Township Police Department arrested Tonia R. Holmes of Morgantown.  Holmes is charged with three counts of Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol or Controlled Substance and a traffic offense.  It is alleged that on April 25, 2026 at around 11:55 PM, officers responded to a report of an intoxicated driver.  An officer located the suspect vehicle, being driven by Holmes, in the 900 block of East Earl Road.  When the officer spoke with Holmes, they notices signs of intoxication.  The results of a chemical test revealed that Holmes had a blood-alcohol concentration (BAC) of .189% and was under the influence of marijuana.

The public is reminded that criminal charges are merely accusations.  Holmes is PRESUMED INNOCENT.
