Paul Miller's Law became effective on June 5, 2025. For the first year, officers have only issued warnings for the violation. Effective June 5, 2026, police officers will begin issuing citations for using an interactive mobile device while driving. The penalty is a summary offense with a $50 fine plus costs and fees.
