KITTANNING BOROUGH, ARMSTRONG COUNTY:

Armstrong County District Attorney Katie Charlton released the following statement with regard to recent reports in the press regarding an alleged hearing for Nicole Hosack, owner of Niki’s Quick Six: 

“There was not a ‘closed door hearing’ held with regard to the Niki’s Quick Six establishment, as has been erroneously reported by a TribLive reporter. Per a joint statement by the attorneys to that same reporter, an amicable settlement in the matter was reached. Where a settlement is reached, there is no need for a hearing and the scheduled hearing was canceled. The parties are working on a joint press release as to the exact terms of the settlement that will be sent out to the media when the parties have finalized a written agreement.”
