Penn College Police participated in Emergency Preparedness Day 2026 today at FCI Allenwood. The event consists of:

Over 50 outside agencies will be involved, including the FBI, ICE, PA State Police, Williamsport Police, South Williamsport Police, Penn College Police, US Marshal Service, The Coroner, PA Game Commission, SCI Muncy, along with local fire and emergency response agencies. These agencies will join forces with the crisis management teams to provide education on both institutional and environmental emergencies and disasters.  

​Those attending will receive information on emergency response, search and rescue techniques, proper care for animals during a crisis, gun safety and many other personal safety related topics. The FCC Allenwood/USP Lewisburg CST, BREACH, SORT, DCT, and CNT will provide a variety of demonstrations, which will include:  rappelling, building entries, breaching, shield and weapons instruction and equipment overviews.
