A 17-year-old high school student was issued a citation for disorderly conduct at Penn Manor High School on Monday, May 11, 2026. The School Resource Officer responded to a vape sensor alert in the female's bathroom. After reviewing the area's surveillance footage, the officer identified the student who was present in the bathroom at the time of the alert. A search of the individual by school staff led to the recovery of a smoking device, which tested positive for marijuana.
