The Hanover Township Police Department is investigating an attempted assault that occurred behind a residence on Garrahan St. on Monday, May 4^th 2026, at approximately 22:52hrs.

The suspect was described as a larger male wearing all black clothing. He was captured on nearby surveillance video fleeing the scene toward Delaney St.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Hanover Township Police Department at 570-825-1254. Residents in the Lyndwood and Breslau areas are also asked to check their surveillance systems to determine whether the suspect was seen walking through the neighborhood before or after the incident.
