On Sunday, 10 May 2026 at approx. 2:16 am Lancaster City Bureau of Police officers stopped Donte Nunn, who had been operating an electric off-road dirtbike, for a vehicle code violation in the 200 block North Queen Street. Nunn proceeded to flee on foot, and a Taser was used to gain control of Nunn and take him into custody. Nunn was later found to be in possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
The incident occurred around bar closing time, when a large crowd was present in the area. During the arrest, multiple individuals converged on officers and failed to comply with repeated verbal commands to back away. Due to the escalating disturbance and continued noncompliance, officers deployed oleoresin capsicum spray to disperse the crowd and maintain scene safety.
As a result of the incident, Nunn, a 25-year-old male who lives the 100 block of Linville Drive, Mountville, PA 17554, was charged with operating an off-road vehicle on a highway within an urban municipality, evading arrest or detention on foot, possession of marijuana, disorderly conduct, possession of drug paraphernalia, and driving while operating privilege is suspended or revoked.
Nunn was also found to have an outstanding bench warrant through the Lancaster County Sheriff's Office and an active warrant for Simple Assault through the East Lampeter Township Police Department. Nunn was transported to Lancaster County Prison on the outstanding warrants.
