On April 8, 2026, the Caernarvon Township Police Department responded to a fraud in progress at the Ephrata National Bank (ENB) located at 6296 Morgantown Road, Caernarvon Township, Berks County.

Upon arrival, officers detained two males, identified as Jonathan BRADLEY, and Robert JONES, who were attempting to cash fraudulent checks. 

Investigation revealed that the checks were forged and not authorized by a local business victim. The suspects provided conflicting stories, claiming they received the checks for landscaping work. However, further investigation suggested that the suspects may be part of a larger fraudulent check operation, where individuals are used to pass forged checks in exchange for a percentage of the profits.

Based on the evidence, Jonathan BRADLEY has been charged in connection with this incident. All persons are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
