**ARRESTED**SHAWN J. ACKERMAN**4/2/26**

On Thursday April 2, 2026 at approximately 5:53 PM, Palmer Township Police were dispatched to 2150 Gateway Ter for a domestic assault. Upon arrival, investigating Officers spoke with the female victim, who had visible facial injuries. The female victim stated she was punched in the mouth and face, thrown to the floor by her fiance, Shawn Ackerman, who then strangled her and started banging her head off the floor causing injuries to her head. Shawn Ackerman was taken into custody and transported to the Palmer Police Station for processing. 

Shawn Ackerman was later transported to the Central Booking Center for further processing and arraignment. He was arraigned by Magisterial District Justice Capobianco and committed to prison on $20,000.00 bail.
