DRUG DROP BOX:
A Drug Drop Box is located in the Plumstead Township lobby and is available for anyone to drop off unused prescriptions or illegal drugs, with no questions asked.
The Drug Drop Box is available Monday-Friday from 8:00am-4:00pm.
DRUG TAKE BACK DAYS:
The Plumstead Township Police Department participates in a County-Wide Drug Take Back Day in the Spring and Fall of each year. The program is a great opportunity for those who have accumulated unwanted, unused and / or expired prescription drugs.

HOW DRUGS ARE DISPOSED:
After all the drugs are collected they are transported to a facility to be incinerated. This is the best method of disposing of the drugs. Pouring down the drain or flushing unwanted, unused, and/or expired prescription drugs down the toilet keeps medicine(s) from entering streams and rivers which can affect our drinking water supplies
