Nazareth police officers were on patrol in the early morning hours of February 26, 2026, around 1:00 am. During their rounds, they came across a male individual who appeared to be passed out in the driver's seat. Upon closer inspection, they noticed the vehicle's engine was running, and its headlights were still on. The officers conducted an investigation, which revealed that the driver was intoxicated from consuming an alcoholic beverage. As a result, the driver was taken into custody on suspicion of being in control of a vehicle while under the influence and was transported to the Bethlehem DUI center for a legal blood draw.
