Defiant Behavior at School Basketball Game Results in Arrest
On February 17, 2026, an officer assigned to Central Bucks South High School was requested by school administration to speak with 18-year-old James Russell Nick Combs of Chalfont regarding his prohibition from attending school sporting events. When approached, Combs was dismissive and told the officer, “I don’t have time for you today,” repeatedly interrupting and telling the officer to “shut up.” He became loud and caused a disturbance in the presence of others. As a result, Combs was cited for Disorderly Conduct.
On February 25, 2026, officers working a basketball detail at Central Bucks South High School were notified by staff that Combs was at the basketball game despite being barred from sporting events. Combs was observed attempting to conceal his identity by wearing his hood tightly drawn around his face. When approached by school security and asked to leave, Combs responded, “Make them come and get me.”
An officer then approached Combs, who stated, “Don’t touch me and I’ll go, but don’t touch me,” while clapping loudly in an apparent effort to draw attention and incite other students. As the officer escorted him toward the exit, Combs abruptly turned and began walking further into the building. He remained belligerent and dismissive throughout the encounter.
Combs placed under arrest for trespassing and transported to the police station. Once at the station officers located a fake identification card in his possession. Combs was processed and released.
Criminal charges, and any discussion thereof, are merely allegations and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
