Incident Summary

The Hudson Police Department's K9 unit was requested to assist with a traffic stop. 

The driver of the vehicle was taken into custody on an outstanding narcotics-related warrant and Driving Under the Influence of Drugs (DUID).

The K9 unit conducted a free-air sniff and alerted to the presence of narcotics, prompting a probable cause search of the vehicle. During the search, several hidden compartments and traps were located, containing drug paraphernalia and residue consistent with methamphetamine.  Discovery of this trap vehicle is under investigation.
