On 02/11/2026 at approximately 2:53 P.M., the Chambersburg Police Department was dispatched to the 300 block of W Washington St. for a report of shots fired.  After further investigation, it was determined that Nasir Yusef Iman arrived at the Franklin County Housing Authority and fired numerous rounds from a firearm.  At this time, CPD is unaware of any known victims who were injured or anyone who had their property damaged from the shooting.  Iman was taken into custody at approximately 5:30 P.M. in Harrisburg City.  Iman was charged with (2) counts Person not to Possess a Firearm (F2), (2) counts Firearms not to be Carried Without a License (F3), (12) counts Recklessly Endangering Another Person.  The public is not in danger at this time.  The suspect was quickly identified, and he was taken into custody several hours after the shooting occurred.  The Chambersburg Police Department would like to thank the Harrisburg City Police Department and the Pennsylvania State Police for their assistance with this investigation.
