Donegal Township, PA -- A Pittsburgh-area man was arrested by Pennsylvania State Police after a traffic stop led to the discovery of nearly two pounds of cocaine.
On February 3, 2026, a trooper and his K-9 were situated on Interstate 76 near mile marker 96 in Donegal Township when a vehicle drove by with New York registration and an excessive tint on its windows.
As the trooper pulled out to initiate a traffic stop, they noticed the vehicle change lanes and following another vehicle at an unsafe distance.
The trooper activated its emergency lights and siren to pull the vehicle over.
Police identified the driver by a West Virginia driver's license as Ratique Wilson, 35.
Troopers deployed a PSP drug detection K-9 after Wilson denied police consent to search the vehicle.
The K-9 officer alerted troopers to the possible presence of narcotics inside of the vehicle.
A search warrant was executed on the vehicle and troopers located a kilogram of cocaine inside of the vehicle.
Wilson is facing drug-related charges and several traffic violations. He was remanded to the Westmoreland County Prison after failing to post $150,000 bail.
