On October 25, 2025, at approximately 1:05 AM, Lock Haven City Police officers responded to a disturbance at the UPMC Lock Haven ER involving a patient who became disorderly. According to hospital staff, Nicholas Gower exhibited violent and belligerent behavior, causing damage to medical equipment and physically attacking a security officer, doctor, and nurse. As a result of this incident, Gower was charged with 3 counts Aggravated Assault (F2), Criminal Mischief, (F3), Criminal Mischief (M3), 3 counts Harassment (S), 3 counts Simple Assault (M2), and Disorderly Conduct (M3). All persons are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
