On January 8th, 2026, at approximately 3:24 pm, the police department was dispatched to the intersection of West Keller and South York Streets for a crash which just occurred. Upon arrival officers determined a vehicle was travelling eastbound on West Keller Street. They failed to stop for the stop sign at the intersection with South York Street. Upon entering into the intersection they were struck by a vehicle travelling northbound on South York Street. The struck vehicle required towing from the scene due to the damage the vehicle sustained. The driver and passenger from the striking vehicle were transported by EMS to the hospital for further evaluation of injuries they sustained. The police department was assisted on scene by Penn State Health EMS.
