Arnold, PA -- New Kensington Police and Westmoreland County Detectives filed charges against an Arnold man accused of possessing drugs and a stolen gun. 

New Kensington Police, Westmoreland County Detectives, and Arnold Police assisted agents with state probation and parole with the execution of a search warrant for electronic devices belonging to Delino Franklin. 

On December 18, 2025, police served the warrant on Franklin and his residence on Kimball Avenue in the city of Arnold. 

As police were executing the warrant, a baggie of illicit mushrooms was discovered inside of a backpack, in addition to Franklin's banking cards and photo identification card. 

Investigators applied for further search warrants and discovered marijuana throughout the house, a scale, packaged capsules in baggies believed to be used for distribution, suspected fentanyl pills, and a handgun. 

The handgun was registered to another owner and did not belong to Franklin. 

The registered owner of the handgun told police he had several firearms stolen over the last several years and it was reported to Pennsylvania State Police. 

Franklin was taken into custody and charged with several narcotics-related offenses, possession of firearm prohibited, and receiving stolen property. 

He was arraigned on Thursday and denied bail.
