On December 3rd, 2025, at approximately 11:38 am, the victim contacted the police department advising they had received 2 phone calls from the Lancaster County Prison. They advised they had recently obtained a protection from abuse order against David Shive and he was currently incarcerated there. The prison was contacted and determined Shive had attempted to contact the victim by phone, which was in violation of the active PFA. The charges were filed and Shive was arraigned on 12/5 by Magisterial District Judge Mark W. Martin. Bail was set at $2,000 secure. A hearing will occur at a later date.
