On December 1st, 2025, at approximately 11:20 am, the police department was dispatched to the intersection of South Market and Marble Streets for a crash. Upon arriving officers determined a vehicle had stopped at the stop sign on West Marble Street and was intending to cross over South Market Street to continue eastbound on East Marble Street. Upon entering into the intersection their vehicle was struck by a northbound vehicle on South Market Street. The driver of the struck vehicle was evaluated by EMS and taken to the hospital for further evaluation of their injuries. The striking vehicle required towing from the scene due to the damage it sustained in the crash. Officers were assisted on scene by Penn State Health EMS.
