NOVEMBER 27, 2025 ~ NEWTOWN TURKEY TROT 5K
The Inaugural Newtown Turkey Trot 5K will take place on Thanksgiving Day, November 27, 2025 from 9:00am - 10:30am.
Run begins at 9:00 A.M. Registration and start finish line will be located at Officer Brian S. Gregg Memorial Park, next to Council Rock Chancellor Center.

The Newtown Turkey Trot honors Officer Brian S. Gregg badge #5103, a Newtown Borough Police Officer who lost his life in the line of duty. The race's charity partner is the Bucks County Heroes Scholarship Fund, which supports the families of local first responders who have been killed or permanently disabled while serving our community.
Temporary Road Closures will start at 6:30 a.m on Thursday November 27, 2025
If you live on the 5K Run route, please consider alternate routes and allow extra time for travelling. If you have holiday plans and need to leave please park your vehicle outside of the race route before 8:30am. Local businesses will be open for business and the Police Department will assist as much as possible to help with travelling in Newtown. We will reopen the roads as soon as all participants are safely across the finish line.

No parking on North Congress Street between Jefferson Street and Greene Street will go into effect at 6:00am for event setup.
No overnight parking or event day parking in Council Rock Chancellor Center parking lot located at 30 North Chancellor Street
