On September 24, 2025, Spring Township Police were dispatched to MidPenn Bank for a female who was identified from a prior fraudulent check cashing scheme in Allentown on location attempting to cash a check in the amount of $2,500.00. When police were speaking with the female in custody, it was learned that she was in possession of a Bluetooth earpiece in her ear, that was still connected to her cell phone when officers stopped her. During the initial Law Enforcement encounter, the female was in direct communication with those involved communicating through her cellular phone to another person on a cellular device. 

Speaking to the female in her earpiece, were the actors behind this scheme driving her around, handing her the fraudulent checks and Identifications, beating her and spearheading these acts at different banks. The additional actors were telling her what to say to bank employees and telling her what to say to the initial responding officers on scene. 

After an investigation, Alfredo DAVIS was arrested for Involuntary Servitude, Unlawful Conduct Regarding Documents, Access Device Fraud, and Identity Theft.
