On October 10, 2025, at 2050 hours, police responded to a report of retail theft at Walmart, where the suspect was taken into custody.

The investigation revealed that the suspect, Wei CHEN, had committed multiple thefts at the store over the past few months. This time, he was cooperative and did not attempt to flee.

With the assistance of a language translation service, the suspect was read his Miranda Rights and answered questions in Mandarin. He admitted to taking merchandise without paying.
