Unity Township, PA -- Pennsylvania State Police arrested a Latrobe man accused of entering a personal care home overnight and threatening a worker.
Ryan Hoover, 35, is charged with burglary, criminal trespass, terroristic threats, and loitering and prowling at nighttime.
The victim was working at Kelly's Personal Care Home in Unity Township at approximately 2:00 a.m. caring for two residents when she called police and reported a suspicious male entered the home and threatened her.
The victim told troopers since she is the only staff working overnight, she does not lock the door in case of an emergency, and first responders need to enter the home.
Police said the victim was in the living room of the facility and heard someone walking around and discovered it was someone who did not belonged in the facility.
The male allegedly told the victim she had to perform a sex act on him or she was dead.
According to the victim, she was in fear for her life and told the male to leave the facility multiple times.
The male walked away from the facility while yelling and screaming at the victim.
Troopers canvassed the area and located an abandoned vehicle near the facility and discovered a receipt inside of the vehicle displaying Ryan Hoover's name.
Investigators showed the victim a photo of Hoover and the victim positively identified him as the alleged actor.
Hoover was arraigned in front of Magisterial Judge Tamara Mahady and released on $25,000 unsecured bail.
