Incident Summary: Shooting Investigation Underway

On August 26th, at approximately 4:14pm, North Charleston Police Department (NCPD) responded to a shooting incident on Gaynor Ave near E. Montague Ave.

According to preliminary reports, a 45-year-old male individual sustained injuries as a result of the shooting. The victim was transported to a local hospital for medical treatment.

The investigation is ongoing, and detectives are working to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident. No arrests have been made at this time.
