On the morning of July 6, 2025, at 1:52 a.m., a Nazareth Borough Police Department officer witnessed a silver-colored Nissan Altima heading northbound on S. Broad Street with its high beams activated, subsequently making a left turn onto Belvidere Street. The vehicle then collided with a parked vehicle in the unit block of Belvidere Street before fleeing southbound on S. Spruce Street. The officer initiated a traffic stop, and the vehicle came to a halt at the intersection of S. Spruce and E. Walnut Streets. Upon interacting with the driver, a subsequent investigation led to the driver's arrest on suspicion of operating a vehicle while under the influence of alcohol. A blood test later revealed the driver's blood alcohol content to be 0.20. As a result, charges were filed against the individual at Magisterial District Court 03-2-08. All persons are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
